Tucked in the mountains of Telluride, surrounded by beautiful yellow Aspen trees, Raegan and Lucas exchanged vows with their closest friends and family. After a short gondola ride up to Wilson Peak overlook, the bride and groom stood in the crisp Colorado air with the glow of the magic hour and said their vows. To end the night, their friends and family joined them at a nearby cabin and enjoyed a delicious, hand crafted meal on the back patio with warm candlelight.

Elopements can remind us of what is truly important. Standing before the ones we love, surrounded by breathtaking beauty and nature, and sharing a warm meal to end the night. Truly a dream come true.

Hello! I am Taylor Townsend and I am the owner and designer of Mariposa Florals. My journey with flowers began in 2016 when I got the opportunity to intern for a wedding floral company in Oklahoma. That sparked a whole new love and passion and I have been working in the floral industry ever since!

I have a love for nature and the beautiful creation of flowers. My hope and desire is to create beauty out of what is already there, incorporating organic movement and carefully crafted pieces that fit your personality.

When I’m not playing with flowers you can find me hanging with my husband and son in the Colorado mountains. We moved to Southwest Colorado in 2021 to enjoy the wonderful outdoors and we have done just that. Our favorite thing is to kayak on the mighty Animas River.

I am so glad you are here and would love the opportunity to help create something beautiful for your special event. Please say hi and fill out an inquiry form to get started!
